António Norton
António Norton was born in Lisbon on June 27, 1981.
He completed his 8th degree in classical piano at the Academia dos Amadores de Música, as well as his 3rd degree in analysis and composition techniques, in the class of teacher and composer Eurico Carrapatoso.
He has a degree in world music from the School of Arts and Technology.
He studied jazz composition and harmony with Alexandre Dinis and Pedro Madaleno, jazz piano with Daniel Bernardes and Paula Sousa and jazz singing with Maria João, Cláudia Franco and Mili Vizcaíno.
He released his first original album The Norton's Project, "Happiness Love and Despair" in 2013 through Primetime Publishing.
In 2018, The Norton's Project released the EP "It's Time" through FAROL Publishing.
In 2019 he began composing the album "Reencontro", his first in Portuguese, where he not only pays tribute to his grandfather by setting several of his poems to music, but also writes his own poetry.
