Francisco Sobral
Francisco Sobral was born in Beja in 1965 and started singing at Festas dos Forcados, in Beja, at the age of 15.
“Fado é Saudade” was his first album, released in 1997. He performed shows in various locations across the country and abroad. In 1999 he permanently joined the cast of the musical “Amália”, directed by Filipe La Féria in the role of Alfredo Marceneiro.
He performed in several Fado Houses, namely “Clube do Fado”, “Marquês da Sé”, “Bacalhau de Molho”, “Passos de Fado”, continuing to perform in the country and abroad.
