Ninguem

Ninguem, the alter ego of Joaquim Gonçalves, is the result of an identity metamorphosis, Joaquim having had other names during his career as a musician. He studied Music Production and Technology at ETIC between 2008 and 2011. Even before he became a DJ in 2007, his journey into the night began as a producer/percussionist (Joka Drums), where he played live with DJs for 8 years, touring the whole country (Portugal) and performing internationally in Angola, Cape Verde, Switzerland and England. During this period, he was the drummer in the band Makongo and, with the two projects running in parallel, he played over 150 gigs in one year. This whole cycle has come to an end, mainly due to the artist's need to reinvent and rediscover himself, in order to arrive at his new signature, NINGUEM.

This has been the case since 2018, and since then he has released his music on Portuguese labels, Kazukuta Records and Percebes Música; on American labels, Open Bar Music and Kolour Recordings and also had his debut EP on Swedish label, Blossom Kollektiv.
