Throughout a career that has already spanned twenty years, Lisbon native Rão Kyao has distinguished himself for his persistent desire to rediscover the East. Making use of the bamboo flute and the saxophone, he found inspiration in Indian, Arabic, African and Chinese music, thus reestablishing the lost link between Portuguese musical tradition and the East.
