Rita Borba is a Portuguese singer born on Terceira Island, in the Azores, an interpreter and songwriter, who swept us off our feet with her debut album 'Lá Fora' in 2022, eight songs from another time and reminding us of other big names like Né Ladeiras and Lena D'Água. In an album produced by Pedro de Tróia and Tomás Branco, Rita has established herself as one of the new Portuguese pop voices of our times, with a disarming delicacy and beautiful songs, the kind that never tire and always beg for another listen. The next steps for this debutante are eagerly awaited: a new single, a new album, something that will quench our thirst for water that saves and makes us dream. But until then, we can always listen again to her enchanting debut album and imagine a slightly better world.

Fruit of the Atlantic Sea, it was at the Angra do Heroísmo Conservatory of Music in the Azores that Rita Borba discovered singing as a clarion call to plenitude. Driven by the desire to sing and make herself heard, in 2021 she released her debut single "Chá das Cinco", which was featured in the collection Novos Talentos FNAC '21.
In June 2022, Rita Borba releases "Lá Fora", an album in her own name, made up of eight songs that take us on a journey of restlessness, produced by Pedro de Tróia and Tomás Branco.
