VISO

“VISO” is a feeling. A moment in time that crystallized in the form of music.

Produced by Hugo Andrade and recorded in just four days, the band made Quinta do Viso Grande, in Setúbal, their headquarters. The landscape of Serra da Arrábida, the starry sky and the perfect light of the sunset gave the band a special boost and inspiration for the recordings.

From 12 bar blues, through rock-n-roll, intervention music and more experimental music, VISO is a testament to our influences. With the Blues as a backdrop - if the song is not Blues by definition - it is definitely Bluesy, and quite so. This album, like the band, is for those who like Blues but don't know it yet.

We talk about different topics that mean something to us. “Rita”, which talks a lot about the environment but throws cigarette butts on the floor, makes a great contrast with “Poço”, our first single, whose theme revolves more around introspection and reflection. Both are equally important to us because they are topics that we deal with on a daily basis, both are Sir Dinha Blues Band, both are “VISO”.

Therefore, within this diversity, anyone can find something they like, in just eight songs and in the space of 40 minutes.
