Cérebro: Estado Zero

"Cérebro: Estado Zero" is the latest album by Desidério Lázaro, a saxophonist based in Lisbon, who returns to his Trio formation with the indispensable Mário Franco on double bass and Luís Candeias on drums. The album's aesthetic follows the style of his first work, "Rotina Impermanente," alternating between compositions with a strong visual component and songs. Most of the tracks are written by the saxophonist, with the exception of "Blues Hesitante" by Mário Franco and "Largo" by Luís Candeias.
