"Moving" is an album of journeys, both temporal and physical, an eclectic mix of genres and emotional states, something the Algarve saxophonist has already accustomed us to. Thus, from the energetic title track "Moving" to the serene "Introspective", and including tributes to father ("Hidden Pain") and son ("Lullaby"), it is impossible not to connect with this music, which, although sprinkled with jazz and rock in balanced doses, increasingly strives to be cinematic and immersive.”
