Stillness In Time feat Daniel Bernardes

Recorded at the end of 2020 at the Hot Clube de Portugal, Stillness in Time features the virtuosity of Daniel Bernardes on piano, and conveys the sensations experienced in the quiet of home during the lockdown period. Change, fragility, uncertainty, moving through acceptance and hope, are some of the themes proposed by Desidério, which, in a dance between saxophone and piano, tell the journey of emotions.

The compositions, influenced by the classical music of the Romantic period—but never abandoning jazz—open the doors to improvisation, like Lázaro's trembling thoughts wandering in anticipation of different, better, normal days.
